Creates a single screen from multiple touch devices

Scientists from Tokyo University of Technology have introduced a new technology that enables the creation of a single screen from a variety of touch devices, such as smartphones and tablets.

This technology is called Pinch , which allows the connection of the two devices together. These devices must be placed side-by-side, when you place your thumb on the screen of a device, point your finger at the screen of another device, and then move the fingers together.

Then the two screens will automatically merge into a large screen. A portion of the screen will be displayed on the screen of a device, the rest on the screen of the other device. Two devices will adjust themselves, via wifi, to decide which part of the picture will appear on the screen.

Incorporation of the two devices can not only be done in the vertical direction but also in the horizontal direction. The screens of the devices are not necessarily equal. This general screen can also be set up from more than 2 devices.

There are already a few screen unification technologies, such as Junkyard Jumbotron technology. Like Pinch, the technology can split a picture to display on a common screen from different devices, but this process can take quite a long time.
