Creatures glowing mysteriously in American ports
Netizens are shaken by a video that captures an image of a strange, but glowing, squid-like creature, swimming in the harbor area of Bristol, USA.
Many videos with the mysterious sea creature on the harbor of Bristol appeared frantically on YouTube and Twitter social network over the past few days. Many people even claim that it is an "alien creature".
An account on Twitter wrote: "It's obviously Santa's water trailer!" . Meanwhile, another person wondered if the creature had escaped from the Bristol zoo.
Marine biologists admit, they don't know exactly what the creature is in the video. However, this may be a special jellyfish or marine salp that is washed up by the storm to the shore or is itself trying to find a place to stay in order to avoid bad weather.
The sea gull is a small, jars-shaped, jellyfish-like creature that takes everything it needs from seawater to live and push itself to move.
Dr Steve Simpson, of the University of Bristol School of Biology, said he had never seen anything like that before. What makes the animal even more unusual is that it has appeared in the middle of an extremely crowded residential area.
