The ocean covers nearly three-quarters of the Earth's surface and is home to many unexplored strange creatures. Therefore, ocean exploration always brings curiosity and inspiration to researchers.

For nearly 40 years, British photographer David Shale has been constantly searching for and recording images of strange creatures living only in the seabed with great depth and pressure. Shale uses a dedicated ROV survey device to get those creatures on board and capture unique images of them.
