Explaining this mystery, scientists explain the glowing beach thanks to some types of plankton living in seawater. In fact, they are called dinoflagellate algae belonging to the group of single-celled organisms. When luminescent in seawater, they can hide from the predator's gaze. Because the predator is also afraid of reaching the light, their enemies are also there. Thus, self-glowing will help the little animal scare off predators.

The light of these creatures is emitted by a pigment called luciferin and the luciferase enzyme . When luciferin reacts with oxygen, the enzyme luciferase is the catalyst that helps the reaction to occur faster. Combined with the density of plankton that occupy a large amount of sea water to create this beautiful beach.

However, scientists have yet to find a detailed explanation for this strange phenomenon.
