The Fiji Crocodile Association will now work with the country's Fisheries Minister to determine the cause of the mass deaths of the fish.

The Great Fiji Shark Count will send a team to Nukulau Island to collect samples of dead crocodiles to conduct a verification of the cause.

According to the initial survey, dead crocodiles may have been suffocated because of the sudden increase in temperature, since so far this fish often lived in shallow water.

Previously, the investigation team believed that the dead fish could be caused by poisoning from the spill, but the hypothesis was rejected, since most other fish and creatures were not affected.

Now the Fiji Crocodile Association and its government are shocked when a large number of rare crocodiles die.
