Curious to touch the bat in the garden, the 6-year-old boy suddenly died after a few days

The family of 6-year-old boy was deeply distressed by the sudden death of his son, who accidentally touched him.

The 6-year-old Ryker Roque died last Sunday (January 14) at a hospital in Orlando, Florida (USA) after touching a bat that Father Henry found in the garden and putting it in bucket. In this case, Ryker would definitely survive if he was vaccinated right after being infected, but his parents only cleaned the wound as usual and did not take him to the hospital for fear of his son crying when injected prick.

A week later, Ryker's fingers began to become numb, the boy could not walk and began to hallucinate. Too scared, Ryker's parents took the boy to the hospital for a checkup and found the situation very bad. The doctor said that Ryker had rabies , and that the disease was easily fatal when the bad symptoms of the nervous system developed.

Because the virus will affect the brain, the only chance for Ryker is that he undergoes experimental treatment called the Milwaukee Protocol method. According to Dr. Rodney Willoughby, this method has saved at least two children in the United States and 18 people around the world. This treatment will make patients fall into a coma to protect their brain from virus attacks. This will help the patient's immune system have time to fight against the virus. However in Ryker's case it was too late to cure him, the boy died in the pain of his parents and family.

It is known that it comes from a virus that spreads through the bite of an infected animal. Because the time of symptoms appears quite late, people often ignore it, until it is discovered it is late and the central nervous system has been infected, spread to the brain. As the disease progresses, patients will experience hallucinations, paralysis and often die after a few days. According to CDC, rabies kills about 60,000 people annually worldwide, mostly children in Africa and Asia.
