The satellite launch was forced to postpone even though the preparations had been completed before.

According to the plan, at 9:00 am in Hanoi, on 4/5, Vietnam's first remote sensing satellite named VNREDSat-1 will be officially launched into the universe, from the launching ground of Kourou, French Guyana.

Unfortunately, due to a heavy rain in the area, and the current weather conditions were not favorable, the satellite launch had to be postponed. The delay time depends on weather conditions. at Kourou and will be announced later.

Vietnam's first earth observation satellite will be launched by Arianespace, which successfully launched two of Vietnam 's Vinasat 1 and Vinasat 2 satellites, orbiting into orbit with VEGA boosters. The VEGA boosters used in this launch are a new type of missile, developed by the European space agency.

After being launched into space, VNRED Sat-1 will combine the system of receiving, storing and processing remote sensing satellite images of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment into a complete system. Since then, Vietnam can actively provide high-resolution satellite images for ministries, branches and provinces to serve the management and monitoring of natural resources, environment and disaster prevention.
