After the first dental check-up for 5,300 years of mummies, experts from the University of Zurich (Switzerland) were really shocked by the bad condition of the bad teeth of this reluctant patient.

Surprisingly, the ancient people, with representatives of ice people, still suffer from all kinds of oral diseases as well as modern people today.

According to Bild, the iceman suffered from some serious deep holes, a damaged one, possibly due to some accident. In addition, the patient was diagnosed with eating too many breads and cereal porridge, a relatively abundant food in the Neolithic period.

The mummy was found in September 1991 at the Ötztal Alps (named Ötzi), near Mount Similaun and Hauslabjoch at the border between Austria and Italy.
