Design of 10 Metro trains in Hanoi

According to the design, the train has a width of 2.75m to 3m, length of about 80m for 4-car and 100m ship with 5-car train.

The design unit said that the idea of ​​ship decoration is inspired by the colors of nature-friendly, green with the image meaning of Hanoi capital and showing the modern and dynamic beauty; combining red and pink color of dragon fruit representing Vietnamese agricultural products. These colors are harmonized by gray color, creating a light, pleasant feeling for the eyes.


Inside the ship use white and green as the main color, pink red color accents to create a pleasant feeling for users. The train is capable of carrying 850 to 950 people, the density is between 6 and 8 people / m ² ;exploit commercial speed 35km per hour, design speed 80km per hour.

There are space for wheelchairs of disabled people (specially designated on the floor) and seats reserved for the elderly, pregnant women and children.

Mr. Julien Barjou, Project Technical Director of Alstom said: 'The rules of the ship handles are specifically designed for Vietnamese people, based on demographic, height, and shape research.'
