The findings of Vinters and his colleagues are published in the journal Human Pathology. Scientists have long questioned, what caused Vladimir Ilyich's early death. Mr. Lenin died at the age of 53, after being listed for 10 months in a row.

During the study, American neuroscientists discovered that transforming the body caused the World Proletarian leader to be paralyzed and then cause death. In addition, Lenin's cerebral vessels were frozen, almost to the end of his life almost completely petrified.

According to experts, this phenomenon may occur as a result of the NT5E gene mutation. Unusual illness can be inherited to Vladimir Ilyich from his father, who also passed away around this age.
