Detecting extremely rare rare snake species after decades of absence

According to RT, two farmers in Guapiruvu, Brazil have discovered a very rare snake Corallus cropanii. The snake weighs 1.5kg and is 1.7m long.

The last time humans discovered a snake, Corallus cropanii, living in the wild, was in 1953 in Miracatu.

Butantan scientists have kept the snake to study them, before releasing them to nature. According to scientists, Corallus cropanii has the ability to climb trees extremely amazingly and it spends a lot of time to live on trees.

The snake has a slender, slender body and a big head. The front teeth are very long, often several times the length of the teeth of the same size snake.
