Detecting giant sea monster corpses
People living near the Bay of Plenty (New Zealand) discovered the first part of the monster about 9m long was washed ashore after several storms.

The locally recorded image published on Youtube shows that the head of the monster has a wide mouth and very large teeth. The lower part is rotting much and buried under sand.
Video author Elizabeth Ann thinks it may have been attacked by other animals at sea.

The remnant shape of this strange animal causes many people to come up with different theories: It could be saltwater crocodile, a giant sea eel or a kind of dolphin even a dinosaur. The images above have been sent to New Zealand's conservation agency to determine which animal it is.

Marine animal expert Anton van Helden rejected all of the above hypotheses and suggested that this is a fish whale (killer whale) - a type of whale living in Fiji Island and Plenty Bay (about 180km from Auckland city) to the southeast).
