Detecting meteor mass in China

Chinese astronomers have found a giant iron rock meteorite in Altay, Xinjiang autonomous region.

The meteorite block was found on July 17. The meteorite that falls to earth is formed from many causes such as cosmic collisions, explosions, dead planets.

The floating part of the rock is 2.2 meters long and 1.25 meters high, with a width of 1.2 m. Its weight is estimated to be 25 tons.

Meteors are mainly composed of silicon. Meteorite pieces float in the universe millions of years before appearing on earth. Therefore, it is considered by many people to be the container of the energy of the universe.

Astronomers are conducting measurements, examining meteorite masses.
