This number of meteor stars is not inferior to the two big meteor showers of the year and, but Quadrantids is thought to be less long and brighter and its peak only lasts a few hours instead of two nights as Another big meteor shower. Therefore, Quadrantids are considered a medium-sized meteor shower.

There are central areas around the Bootes constellation (Pastor / Bear Hunter). The most ideal observation time is when the constellation is full on the morning of January 4, from 2am onwards.

Observers need to choose a wide viewing angle, less light from street lights or lights of tall buildings .

There is a disadvantage for observers in Vietnam that this meteor shower took place on November 18 (Lunar Calendar), so the moonlight will cover quite a lot of meteor. In the North, the weather in these days is cloudy, so the observation will be difficult. Therefore, the observer needs to look at the sky, if he sees normal stars, he will be able to see the supernova.
