'This new nostril bat is tiny, has a dark color on the body so it looks like a devil (beelzebub) and is scientifically named Murina beelzebub ' - Gabor Csorba, working at HNHM, one of the researcher of this bat species said.

The new snout bats are being studied by scientists, but they warn they now live in 'vulnerable' forests due to human deforestation problems.

It is known that bat species account for one-third of all mammals in Southeast Asia. A recent genetic study suggests that their actual number could be double that now.
