The boat has a modern life buoy system designed with a airbag and a small compressed air tank with a volume of about 70cc. When necessary, just press the emergency button the float system will inflate and fill the gas with a volume of 150 times the original volume.

On the other hand, the boat using the battery system should be lit by floodlights when entering the cave or serving the rescue and rescue of the rainy season; Festival nights can use LED and compact lights for lighting, decoration or advertising, festival services.

Mr. Dang Thanh De, author of composite boat, said the idea of ​​making this boat comes from the fact that tourist boats on Son river in Phong Nha cave are causing serious pollution. On this small river, up to 316 diesel engine boats, averaging 400cc, are emitting a lot of toxic fumes. In addition, the diesel engine makes a loud noise that affects the activity of living creatures around the cave.

According to Mr. De, Vina Siam Joint Venture Company is cooperating with the Mekong Sub-region Sustainable Tourism Development Project in Quang Binh to produce two boats worth 70 million VND each to compare and evaluate.

Moving forward, it will replace all 316 diesel-powered boats in the Phong Nha - Ke Bang area. This project, after successful implementation, will be a premise for widespread deployment in other places such as Huong Pagoda, Ha Long Bay, Cat Ba, Nha Trang and Vung Tau.
