According to CNN, new footprints are identified with a length of 1.75m. It is said to belong to a sauropod that is a long-necked herbivorous dinosaur .
The finding surpassed last July's record of 1.15m long footprints found in Bolivia, believed to belong to a carnivorous dinosaur.
Professor Salisbury enthusiastically shared that the newly discovered footprint is only one of the results of the survey at the Dampier Peninsula, which is believed to be Australia's " Jurassic park " in the northwest of the country.

The team found 21 different dinosaur traces on the Dampier peninsula. Some rock samples are thought to have a life of 140 million years. Mr. Salisbury and his colleagues have been searching in this area for over 5 years.
"This is where there are the most dinosaur traces ever discovered. If we go back to the past 130 million years ago, we would imagine a bunch of dinosaurs on this coast," said Salisbury. .
