Discovered giant dinosaur footprints in Scotland

Scientists recently found dinosaur footprints in Scotland, proving that the ancient beast used to roam in the north of England.

Footprints dating back to 170 million years have been discovered in sandstone in rocks near Inverness. This footprint is preserved almost perfectly, clearly marked, full of feet, heels and 4 toes.

The only footprint discovered earlier in Scotland lies at the Isle of Skye and the Hebrides river basin. It is believed that these footprints once belonged to one child - a brother similar to a scary child.

This discovery is published by Dr. Neil Clark, vice president of Glasgow Geological Society. However, Mr. Clark affirmed that the exact location of the footprint has not yet been made public, mainly because scientists want to study further.

'I often lamented that there was practically no trace of dinosaurs elsewhere in Scotland but now I have discovered a new dinosaur footprint in a completely new position,' Clark told the BBC. . "This discovery will contribute significantly to our knowledge base of dinosaurs from ancient times in England."

Dr. Clark's next step is to launch a community capital raising program in the hope of achieving about £ 5,000. This money will be used to buy a high-quality unmanned aircraft to survey large Scottish lawns to search for dinosaur footprints from above.

Finding dinosaur traces is considered important globally because it helps to find rare evidence of the Middle Jurassic period, which has very few fossil sites found around the world.
