Discover cliffs with more than 5,000 ancient dinosaur footprints

Cal Orcko in Bolivia is home to the most diverse and diverse fossil footprints, dating from the Cretaceous period. This place attracts many visitors to visit.

The feet of these animals sank into the soft ground in hot and humid weather, leaving footprints hard after decades of drought.After that, it rained again buried these footprints in mud and silt.This cycle is repeated 7 times, keeping many layers of footprints.Geological tectonic activities push the ground up high, creating a great perspective like today.(Photo: Jerry Daykin.)

These fossils were discovered by miners in Cal Orcko in 1985. However, until about 1994-1998, the importance of this area was confirmed, when a research team led by Christian paleontologist Meyer surveyed the cliff and identified the ground.(Photo: Bencito the Traveler / Flickr.)
