Discover fossil giant footprints in Western China

Several fossilized footprints larger than ordinary people were discovered in Guizhou province in southwestern China.

Local media said on August 24, a group of photographers discovered a huge set of footprints printed on rocks in Pingyan village.

According to Sputnik, one of these footprints has a left foot shape, 57cm long, 20cm wide and 3cm deep. These footprints may have originated in ancient times.

In the past there have been similar findings in history, causing scientists to be confused. One of the first giant footprints ever discovered by a hunter named Stoffel Coetzee near the town of Mpuluzi, South Africa in 1912.

According to Michael Tellinger, who made a YouTube video of his visit to the footprint in 2012, the footprint is about 1.2 meters long and can be up to 200 million years old. Local people call this "Footprint of God".

Another footprint dating back 290 million years was also discovered in New Mexico by biologist Jerry MacDonald in 1987.
