There are two more species of endemic finger lizard belonging to the Gecko Gekkonidae family discovered in Vietnam.
Two species of endemic leg lizard belonging to the Tac Ke Gekkonidae family have just been animal researcher Ngo Van Tri, Department of Technology and Environmental Management, Institute of Tropical Biology of Ho Chi Minh City (under Vietnam Academy of Science). ) discovery in the Southwest region of Vietnam. This work was published in Zootaxa animal classification magazine No. 1909 on October 20, 2008.
Eisenman's finger lizard (Cyrtodactylus eisenmani sp. Nov. Corn, 2008.) is named Dr. Stephanie L. Eisenman, Director of the International Wildlife Conservation Organization (WWF), USA, who has contributing tirelessly to the conservation of global and Vietnamese wildlife in recent years.

Two medium sized lizards, the head length of two species is about 81.3 - 87.6 mm. Eisenman fingerless lizard is chocolate brown with 4 more white lines on the back and another white line on the tail (Figure A)

Eisenman finger lizard in Kien Giang Biosphere Reserve is the fourth species of reptile discovered in Vietnam, after white-tailed lizard-like species - Cnemaspis caudanivea sp. nov. Grismer & Ngo, 2007; Cnemaspis aurantiacopes sp. - Cnemaspis aurantiacopes sp. nov. Grismer & Ngo, 2007; Cryptelytrops honsonensis sp. nov. Grismer, Ngo & Grismer, 2008. This shows the importance of this biosphere reserve with the conservation of endemic Vietnamese and international reptiles.
The discovery of two more endemic species has raised the number of reptiles discovered by the author in the last two years in South Vietnam to 10 species (9 species of lizards and 1 snake).
