Mexican archaeologists discovered about 50 remains of more than 500 years of the Aztec empire, some of which were placed in porcelain pots.

The National Academy of Anthropology and History of Mexico said that during the process of digging a new tunnel in Mexico City, the country's archaeologists discovered the remains of about 50 children of the empire. Aztec has existed more than 500 years ago, including some of the remains placed in porcelain pots.

According to Mexican archaeologists, these discovered remains show us the apparent burial of the Aztecs.

It was the burial of relatives under the floor and the children who died were often placed in porcelain jars for burial because the Aztecs believed that these vessels were like the womb of a mother to keep them warm. .

In addition to the above mentioned remains, archaeologists also discovered the foundations of houses built during the Aztec Empire, and hundreds of other artifacts dating from 1,100-1,500 years old.

The Aztec Empire, which is the capital of Mexico City today, once dominated a large part of Mesoamerica (Central America) for about a century until the arrival of Spaniards.
