Discovering the grave of the prototype of Santa Claus
A group of Turkish experts seeking to enter the grave is said to belong to Saint Nicholas, Santa's prototype today.
Archaeologists may be about to unearth the remains of Nicholas , also known as Santa Claus (Santa Claus) , after discovering the grave hidden under the church of Saint Nicholas in Demre, Antalya, Turkey on 2/2 10, according to National Geographic.

St. Nicholas of Myra is a 4th century Christian saint, loved by his generosity towards children, making him an immortal symbol, inspiring Santa's image today. . Historical records indicate that St. Nicholas was buried in the church built according to his name, but the place where the exact remains were long remained a mystery.
Cemil Karabayram, head of the Antalya Memorial Agency, said his group had discovered an intact temple when surveying the surface of an ancient church."We are confident that this temple has not been damaged at all, but it is difficult to access it due to many mosaic on the floor. Each brick needs to be unloaded in turn so that the floor can be restored to its original state." Karabayram said.

Karabayram is optimistic about the possibility of finding "Santa Claus" in the tomb. Researchers from 8 majors are being invited to review the area. The excavation team began digging and will soon enter the grave, according to Daily Asbah.
