Does juicer juice cure pancreatic cancer?

A study in the United States found that bitter melon juice (bitter melon) could prevent the development of pancreatic cancer cells, according to Medical Daily.

Three years ago, scientists discovered extracts of bitter melon (bitter melon) that prevented the growth of breast cancer cells in the bacterial culture plate.

Now, scientists at CU Cancer Center and Skaggs School of Medicine and Medicine in Colorado (USA) have discovered a new kind of fruit that is very popular in Asia.

They found bitter melon juice to affect glucose metabolism, limiting the energy supplied to pancreatic cancer cells and destroying them.

Pancreatic cancer is one of the most dangerous types of cancer, with a high mortality rate because it is not easily detected. In the United States alone, about 45,220 cases are diagnosed each year and 38,460 deaths.

The research team found that after giving the mice water through the squash, the growth of pancreatic cancer cells decreased by 60%. The ratio is similar for pancreatic cancer cells grown in a Petri dish (laboratory culture plate) in the laboratory.

The bitter melon juice prevented cancer cells from metabolizing glucose and causing the cells to not be energized, while not affecting normal cells. The reason is that cancer cells depend primarily on energy from glucose.

Many researchers are developing new drugs to attack cancer cells' energy self-sufficiency. But now we have a natural compound that can do that, says Professor Rajesh Agarwal, who conducted the study.

The study is published in the journal Carcinogenesis.
