Electric light with cardboard
German designer Johannes Kiessler invented a strange, beautiful electric suspension lamp whose body is made of cardboard and is quite environmentally friendly.
According to Gizmag magazine, this suspension is named Numerouno , weighs 600gr , only consumes 21W but glows like the 150W traditional light bulb. Johannes Kiessler told Gizmag magazine that he was a lecturer on packaging design and was always attracted by cardboard as a precious material. Not only cheap, very flexible but also recyclable up to 80%.
Numerouno lamps hang on the ceiling, are easy to install in accordance with spaces such as kitchens, dining rooms, even working rooms . Now this type of lamp starts to be sold in Europe for 120 USD.
Kiessler said he is continuing to develop a new version with a lower price to penetrate the US market but still earns profits thanks to the accompanying products like decorative string lights.
