Electronic paper can be rolled up as a flashlight
You can easily adjust the brightness of this particular light by loosening or gripping the paper as you wish.
Japanese paper maker TAKEO has unveiled a paper-torch intelligent electronic paper lamp, Designboom, on Aug. 27. Just curled up, the electronic paper will become an LED light.
Nendo designers said they used Agic technology to print electronic boards onto YUPO paper, a kind of durable and waterproof paper. When the paper is curled up, the LED system is activated and turns it into a flashlight, desk lamp or ceiling lamp.
The brightness of the lamp can be adjusted flexibly by controlling the tightness of the paper roll. If you want a dim light to hang in your bedroom, just roll the paper lightly. If you want a more powerful flashlight for a flashlight or desk light, just roll the paper more tightly.

The LED system also changes color when the user changes the tightness of the paper roll. When the paper roll is tightly wrapped, the light turns to yellow (warm color) and, when loosened, the light turns to white (cold).
Compact and flush- mounted when needed, the Paper-torch light is the perfect device to carry around. Manufacturers hope this smart device will soon be popular in the market and be widely applied.
