Excellent astronomical image 2013 as beautiful as fairyland

The Royal Astronomical Observatory has published the best photos in the 'Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2013' competition.

The twin moon, Venus moving through the Sun, galaxies inside the universe or the subtle nebula are the most impressive works in this year's 'Astronomer Photography' season.

The competition attracted more than a thousand professional and amateur photographers from all over the world. The competition is divided into six categories as follows: Deep space, Our solar system, The most beautiful Robotic Scope of the year, People and universe, Best new photographer, Astronomer Youngest student of the year.

This year's first prize belongs to a photograph taken by Australian photographer Mark Gee in the center of the galaxy, about 26,000 light-years from Earth. The photo was taken from the lighthouse mountain in Cape Palliser, New Zealand.
