Exhibition of antiques of the Nguyen Dynasty

Nearly 40 pieces of bronze, porcelain, jade, gold and silver, ancient cloth and letter . the Nguyen Dynasty has just been displayed to serve the people and visitors to the ancient capital of Hue.

On April 21, Hue Museum of Ancient Antiquities (Hue Monuments Conservation Center) opened the exhibition at Long An Palace. The exhibits this time are mobilized from many collections of royal artifacts all over the country donated, including the dragon ball of the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945), the French vase of the 19th century (state gifts). delivered by France on the coronation day of King Hiep Hoa in 1883), the collection of silverware, books of silk and dwellings of the calendar, the system and the land of the Nguyen Dynasty for the first time were introduced to viewers.

Talking to the PV, Mr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said the exhibition aimed at propagating people to donate artifacts to the state museum system, by many events. history, antiquities are lost much in folk. On the other hand, many people have a hobby of collecting royal treasures, but the current policy mechanism makes them hesitant to publicize or cooperate with the State Museum.

"The exhibition creates trust between the state museum system and the community, so that these antiques become the property of the people. The socialization of heritage value also creates the attraction of the museum for Currently, we have mobilized more than 150 artifacts donated by the people and will continue to select and exhibit in the coming time, " Hai said.

Also according to Mr. Hai, the creation of the museum adds vitality in artifacts towards the goal of developing the Hue Ancient Antiquities Museum, becoming one of the three largest museums in Vietnam.
