Experiments that explain people with Ebola are still able to survive

Recent research by American scientists in experimental mice has shown that the genetic gene is the factor that causes some individuals to be immune to the Ebola virus.

Researchers at the University of Washington in collaboration with the University of North Carolina and the National Institutes of Health Research conducted a mouse study to explain why some individuals can fight and survive despite Ebola virus enters the body.

In extremely strict hygienic conditions, they tested the Ebola virus transmission (the virus that caused pandemic in 2014) into mice and followed up at level 4 laboratory in Hamilton, Mont. The results of the experiment helped them to affirm that the genetic gene is a "miracle " that helps some individuals escape the clutches of Ebola death.

Specifically, 70% of mice have symptoms such as internal bleeding, spleen swelling . (in which more than 50% of deaths); 11% found partial resistance in the body (nearly half also died) and 19% of mice were 'immune' to Ebola.

Surprisingly in this experiment, it was the first time that experts conducted Ebola research successfully on mice. The previous times were not successful, because individual infected mice died but there was no symptom out.

The above results are explained based on the mechanism of Ebola attack. Accordingly, the virus after invading the body will kill living cells, causing vascular inflammation in the host.

However, some mice have many ' repair' cells and leukocytes fight blood infections. In addition, there are cells in their liver that limit the ability of the virus to reproduce. This helps them survive and recover after only 2 weeks of viral infection.

All these traits are regulated by the genome. Therefore, the scientists claim that the differences in genetic genetics are responsible for the immunity of some individuals to Ebola. Broader, this may also be true for people.

Sharing more about this study, Katze expert said: 'We hope health professionals will soon apply these results to find vaccines and treatments for Ebola patients.'
