Explosion a third time at the Japanese nuclear power plant

A big explosion occurred early this morning at Japan's Fukushima I nuclear plant, the level of radiation around the plant is now increasing.

A large explosion occurred between 6 am (4 am Hanoi) and 6:15 pm at the No. 2 reactor at the Fukushima I nuclear power plant, a representative of Tokyo power company (Tepco) announced. The explosion injured 15 workers and military personnel and 190 people could be exposed to higher levels of radiation. Workers at the No.2 reactor were evacuated, except for those tasked with pumping water into the kiln, the BBC reported.

This is the third explosion at the Fukushima I plant since the earthquake and tsunami on March 11. Earlier Tepco warned the fuel rods in the No. 2 furnace to protrude from the water completely twice.
