Extremely poisonous spider bites deadly

Many people in a village in northeastern India were hospitalized after strange poisonous spiders entered their habitat.

Indian media reported that poisonous spiders appeared in Sadiya village, Assam state. They are quite large in size and jumpy spider shapes, but local experts do not know which species they belong to. Villagers said poisonous spiders bitten and killed two people and injured more than 10 others. However, information on two deaths has not been confirmed.

'At first we thought it was a joke, but then we saw the spider-biting flock , ' Ranjit Das, an old man living in Sadiya village, told AFP.

The local government sprayed insecticides in the village and sent a group of experts to the village to investigate the incident.

'We went to the village and saw spiders tarantula-like, but we still don't know which species they belong to. They seem to be fierce spiders, with stronger venom than the spiders that we often see in the home , 'admitted Sai Saika, a scientist at Dibrugarh University in Assam state.

Saikia added that the expert team sent some strange spiders out of Assam state to the spider experts.
