Farmers collected 250 million dong a year by improving agricultural machines
From observations in life, Mr. Vuong Hung Nam has improved the machine for agricultural production, which has been well received by farmers.
Mr. Vuong Hung Nam (41 years old, Thin Thuong hamlet, Ngoc Dong commune, Thong Nong, Cao Bang) had just finished grade 5 but had self-tinkered, made a peanut separator with a crank to help his family and many farmers People escape poverty.
Born in a family with difficult circumstances, he had many children, so Nam could only go to grade 5 and go to work everywhere to earn a living. In 1998, away from his hometown, he went to the South to look for work, found people here working in agriculture but had many convenient machines. Among these were a very useful stray machine , he took photos and saved them and thought about how to try it.
Returning to his hometown, he found each tool, took advantage of all kinds of junk wood, cut it and put it together like a lu and designed a crank to press peanuts.

Looking at the appearance, the machine looks like the one he took, but the operation is difficult. After many failures, he persisted in trying, finally finding the most suitable operating mode. The machine runs smoothly, operating speed up to one hour can separate about 10 kg of peanuts, while if manual removal a day, dozens of new workers can separate 10 kg. Split peanuts with a machine are not crushed, touch the shell.
Ngoc Dong commune, Thong Nong district is a land for peanuts, so his products of peanut separators were quickly bought by relatives. He said, about 80 cars are supplied to the market each year, with prices ranging from 800,000 to 1,000,000 VND / unit.
His hometowns no longer have to spend a lot of night straying for the market day. Many families have more time to do other jobs to increase their income.
Not only did he make a stray machine, he also researched and improved China's animal feed slicer. The machine is convenient to use and without electricity leakage, so it is bought by people in the district and some other districts. Every year, he provides customers with 100 units at a price of 800 - 1.3 million VND / unit.
Currently, he opens a small factory at home and specializes in buying and selling agricultural materials, repairing and manufacturing machinery. Besides, he also made tables and chairs, beds, cabinets . for sale.
Nam's factory has 8 regular workers with an income of 7 million VND / month. He also trained for young people in the district. After deducting costs, the average annual income of the family reaches 200 - 250 million VND.
With innovations and contributions to the local economic development, Mr. Nam is one of 63 characters who are honored in the outstanding Vietnamese Farmers 2018.
