The 16-year-old girl in Ajman is developing a robot that can replace those who can not attend classes for health reasons.

Fatima Al Kaabi , 16, is best known as the youngest inventor in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Al Kaabi's products are in the process of being tested.

With the help of the teachers, he developed a similar, less functional, form at Manor Hall International School where he is currently studying.

This project is expected to contribute to changing the way we study in the future.

Through the website, students can control the robot when it replaces them. Student faces will appear on the screen mounted on the robot. In addition, the robot is equipped with sensors to avoid collisions or crash.

"In the future, I hope to add some features , " Al Kaabi said.

The idea came from a joke. A few years ago, he dropped out of school to take part in other activities. After that, I had to stay with the teacher after school.

Realizing that such an invention would help many, Al Kaabi decided to focus on research and development. The object that she directed to the sick students, especially cancer patients.

This high school student received the UAE Pioneers Award and was the winner of the UAE Robotics Olympics. According to Al Bawaba, Al Kaabi had his first invention at the age of seven.

So far, she has developed 12 innovations, including printers, photographic robots, solar-powered bags, smart wheels that help the driver not distract and use the phone on the road, electronic belt for hearing impaired people and electronic bracelets (being developed to enhance security in Dubai Expo 2020).
