Find out the cause of plague in China
The macotot (large ground squirrel) is the source of the outbreak of lung plague, which robbed three human networks in northwestern China, the World Health Organization (WHO) on August 11.
" The epidemiological investigation shows that the cause of the recent pneumonic plague is a wild macmot. The animal then came into contact with a dog, " the WHO statement said.
On August 1, China announced a pneumonic plague broke out in Ziketan, a remote place in Qinghai Province, Tibet region. A 32-year-old herder, is the first victim of this epidemic. The father-in-law of the first victim, 64, and a neighbor, 37, also died of pneumonic plague.

According to WHO, three victims were killed because they were not treated promptly.
Nine others, mainly relatives, who attended the funeral of the first victim, were hospitalized. Of these, 7 are in stable condition, 1 has signs of cough and fever, 1 is in danger.
Xinhua news agency reported, a dog had eaten an infected macot meat. And then, the victim first became infected by being bitten by a flea, burying the dog, Xinhua quoted Wang Hu, director of the Qinghai Department of Disease Control.
Chinese authorities removed the quarantine order applied to Ziketan on August 9. Earlier, the entire city of Ziketan was blocked to block the spread of pneumonic plague.
