Find the gecko live in the snake mouth

American scientists found a species of chameleon living in a snake's mouth in Africa.

Telegraph said Dr. Andrew Marshall, professor of surveying the number of species in the Environmental Department of York University (USA), to Magombera forest in Tanzania to survey here. During the study he saw a twig snake - a snake with a long tail, flattened and pointed tip. Hearing the sound of the snake fleeing. While running, he opened his mouth and a tiny chameleon jumped at Marshall's astonishment.

'I can still take photos even though the snake runs very fast. When I gave a reptile specialist in Tanzania, he claimed it was an unknown chameleon species , 'the doctor said.

Soon a colleague of Marshall saw a second chameleon in a snake's mouth in a place about 10 kilometers from his location.

'I have been working in Tanzania for about 11 years and have discovered many new plants. But the feeling of finding a very special vertebrate. Obviously the gecko disguises very well so other animals are hard to detect , ' Marshall said.

The new chameleon species - whose body size is small enough to fit in the palm - is named Kinyongia magomberae. Scientists have reported their findings in Herpetology.

Chameleon is a very good camouflage reptile group due to its ability to change color. Their skin color changes are very fast (within seconds). When their habitat such as light, temperature, humidity changes or is frightened, pigment cells in their skin will shift, leading to a change in color. According to the Telegraph, each year two new species of chameleon are discovered.
