Find the key of immortality from bacteria living 3.5 million years ago
In 2009 Russian scientists discovered a species of bacteria living healthy in the permafrost in Siberia from 3.5 million years ago.
They named it Bacillus F and, through analysis, found out that it not only has the ability to live extremely long but can also be used to prolong the lives of other species! Will this bacterium be the key to immortality for humans?

Called Bacillus F , this bacterium was discovered accidentally by scientists under the permafrost of the Sakha republic in Siberia (also called Yakutia) in 2009. After analyzing the DNA of this bacterium, scientists unexpectedly found that despite being in the permafrost for millions of years, they still grow extremely strongly.

Therefore, scientists want to know how Bacillus F's genome helps it to have such a wonderful life span. In the initial experiments, the scientists cultivated Bacillus F artificially in the laboratory and transplanted some organs of mice, fruit flies and plants. The results showed that the bacteria enhanced and promoted the development of the immune system in those organs. In the near future, scientists want to conduct experiments to see the effect of this bacterium on human blood cells and on other living organisms.
Dr. Anatoli Brouchkov, leader of the Global Database at the University of Moscow, who was credited with discovering Bacillus F in Siberia, said: 'We have done a lot of experiments on mice and fruit flies. Thereby, we realize their sustainable impacts in extending life and fertility. But we still don't know exactly how it works despite the impact. It can be said that there still exist in this world immortal bacteria, immortal things. They cannot die or be more accurate than being able to protect themselves from everything. "
Microbial culture in plants helps it grow very fast with a good immune system.
Professor Sergey Petrov, head of the Russian Center for Tyumen Science, said: 'In these tests, Bacillus F bacteria stimulated the development and activity of the immune system. Tests on red blood cells and white blood cells also showed very positive results.
The expert translator Viktor Chernyavsky said: ' This is the elixir of life . This bacterium can produce a biologically active substance throughout its life, helping to activate the immune system activity of organisms in the experiment. As a result, old female mice can not only dance but continue to give birth. If this is also true for humans, it can magically extend life, which can lead to a method to help immortal people ".
In the near future, scientists will continue to study to determine exactly which genes regulate Bacillus F. 's aforementioned miraculous ability. However, they said it was not a simple thing and it was as complicated as cure cancer. Probably, this type of bacteria cannot help immortal people, but it can improve the growth rate.
