Italian scientists at Milan University, who are restoring the Group G - My Son world heritage, have identified the kind of adhesive material to build towers a few hundred years ago. Information given by Quang Nam Heritage Management Center on October 1.

It is a kind of glue that is refined from a plant species which has a lot in the area around My Son heritage, which the local people often call the oil tree. In addition, in the bricks used to build Cham towers, scientists also discovered the type of compound derived from the native plants mentioned above. Thus, the mystery of materials used by Cham artisans to build religious works in My Son after more than 100 years has been decoded.

In fact, in the past, Mr. Le Van Chinh (in Tam Xuan, Quang Nam) - a craftsman who spent his whole life studying the method of building Cham towers - has also discovered an oil compound in tower building bricks. and adhesive, but not yet recognized by anyone.
