First transatlantic flight by bio-gas
Hainan Airlines on Nov. 21 successfully completed its first transatlantic flight with biofuels, according to a report in Beijing.

Hainan Airlines' Boeing 787 jet from Beijing to Chicago after being filled with biofuels recycled by China Petroleum and Chemical Corporation (SINOPEC).
The use of biofuels can significantly reduce carbon emissions while ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the flight.
The flight is part of a joint 'green' cooperation between China and the United States.
It is reported that Hainan Airlines has made its first domestic passenger-based flight in China by 2015.
