Former President Bill Clinton came to Vietnam

The expected signing ceremony will take place this afternoon on December 6 at the Presidential Palace under the witness of President Nguyen Minh Triet.

Mr. Clinton will also have a roundtable discussion with Vietnamese students and young people - including some AIDS patients - around the role of young people in the fight against the disease of the century and the importance of trying it out. The Clinton Foundation's HIV / AIDS initiative came into operation in Vietnam from July 2006. In the past four months, the fund has provided treatment for about 500 HIV-infected children and supported the training of about 100 health workers.
