Former US President Bill Clinton will visit Vietnam

According to the VNA correspondent in the US, former US President Bill Clinton, now chairman of the Clinton Foundation on HIV / AIDS and 14 members, is expected to visit Vietnam in 2 days 4 and 5-12.

Former President Clinton also suggested meeting with Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung.

The Clinton Foundation for HIV / AIDS has established relations with Vietnam in December 2005 by signing a Memorandum of Understanding between the Fund and the Ministry of Health in helping Vietnam control HIV / AIDS. From July 2006, the Fund officially opened the Project Office in Vietnam.

With the concept of " treating the whole family ", the Clinton Foundation for HIV / AIDS has implemented a project in Vietnam called " Pediatric Initiative " by providing 800 doses of ARV to children every year and 900 doses of medicine for pregnant women, as well as training programs for health care workers for women and children who are treating HIV / AIDS.

It is expected that members of the delegation will also have former US National Security Adviser Samuel Berger, President of Gate Way Ted Waitt Computer Group.
