Fossil turtle pregnant
Paleontologists said they discovered the fossil of a turtle about 75 million years old. This fossil is found in southern Utah where it contains an egg nest. This is the first pregnant turtle fossil found in the United States.
At least 3 eggs are clearly visible from the outside of the fossil. Now scientists at Montana University are studying the image from the inside of this fossil when using CT Scanner (photo).
This fossilized turtle was discovered in 2006, but at the time it was not thought that it contained eggs inside, until recently the scrutiny volunteers discovered this.
