Prof. Dr. Le Xuan Tham said that this fungus is distributed in Cat Tien forest area (located in Dong Nai and Lam Dong territory), the research team has found that in this area there are exotic breeds, people often eat like other types of non-toxic mushrooms picked up in the forest.
Currently, the research team collaborated with University of Toronto (Canada) to analyze the spores of Bach Kim Huong in Da Lat Nuclear Research Institute and later published the study. According to Mr. Tham, Prof. Dr. David Hibbett (Dai Harvard) contacted the research team Bach Kim Huong to propose a cooperative study on this precious mushroom and included it in the Genome Project - a major project of the new US Department of Energy genome research.
