Found the wreck of 'Titanic Chile' mysteriously after 95 years of disappearance on the seabed

Explorers have recently discovered the mysterious shipwreck 'Titanic Chile' after 95 years of distress, sinking to the sea.

Specifically, in 1922, the Itata ship carried more than 400 people unexpectedly in distress, sinking into the sea floor after a sudden storm in the voyage between the US and Chile. An estimated 374 people were killed in the sinking of the Itata ship.

The number of casualties is also full of mysteries like a ship off the coast of Chile.

Nearly 100 years have passed, the remains of the Itata wreck remains a mysterious problem for researchers.

Since discovering the first clues in 2010, researchers have been working hard to find fragments and remnants of the "Titanic Chile" vessel for the past 7 years.

Accordingly, researchers have finally identified the location of the mysterious ship near Coquimbo port, Elqui province in northern Chile. They used the Self-Propelled Device (ROV) to assist in exploring Coquimbo coast.

Several weeks ago, researchers at the Catholic University of Northern Chile (UCN) said they had found the location of the Itata ship but could not find the wreck. However, a few days later, the team made an impressive harvest when they saw the rubble in the seabed with a depth of 200 meters.

The ROV device captured a 200 meter deep seabed image and showed the exact location of the ship. This makes the scientists extremely happy because this may be the discovery of the mystery of the Itata ship.

Carlos Cortés, a filmmaker and marine biologist at UCN, and the head of the expedition for seven years, said the discovery was of great significance and affirmed that the Itata ship was a legacy. Chile's most important in history.

In the near future, based on technology and images obtained from underwater robots, the researchers can accurately confirm the remains of the mysterious Itata ship.

Researchers hope the new discovery of the Itata wreck can help lift the mystery of the famous ship and the horrifying crash nearly 100 years ago, while opening up many research opportunities on the field. areas such as marine life, underwater archeology, .

The Itata was involved in the Pacific War in 1891, before being sold to Vaporeso in 1922.

At that time, the "giant" Itata ship was mainly used to transport goods and passengers moving between the US and Chile.

Unfortunately, on August 28, 1922 was the "unfortunate" journey of the Itata. After leaving Coquimbo port, just a few hours later, the ship Itata suddenly encountered a storm and was sunk into the sea.

This is one of the most catastrophic and mysterious maritime accidents. Only 26 survivors and swim to shore out of a total of about 400 people on board.
