More than 300 years ago, 19 Salem residents, including 14 women and 5 men were condemned to be witches and hanged before the people. The reason is only because the two children in town have seizures and no one can cure them.

In January 1692, two girls: Elizabeth Parris, 9, and Abigail Williams, 11, were daughters and the granddaughter of pastor Samuel Parris started seizures and had many puzzling diseases. A doctor diagnosed that the two children were cursed by some dark magic.

In the 17th century, people still believed in divine forces as well as devils and they carried heavy thoughts to those who were considered witches. Believing the doctor's words, the Parris family accused hundreds of Salem residents of being witches.
