He will take unmanned spacecraft to the Moon

The BBC has just said that the UK will implement a program to bring unmanned spacecraft to the Moon from now until 2010 without the support of the European Space Agency (ESA).

According to the BBC, the British Council for Astronomical and Particle Physics Research has launched a project for two spacecraft to the Moon, in the hope that price reductions in the areas of technology will allow implementation this project.

So far, the UK has conducted a space exploration program - including the failure of launching an exploration ship Beagle 2 to Mars in December 2003 - in cooperation with ESA.

According to the BBC, the first spacecraft called ' Moonlight ' will be carried out from now until 2010 to study the composition of the Moon core. In the framework of the second spacecraft launch, ' Moonraker ', he will launch a module to the Moon in search of suitable positions for manned spacecraft in the future.
