Many parts of Indonesia have been flooded and material damage has been caused by heavy rains that lasted throughout November 17-18.

In the capital of Bengkulu in Bengkulu province in southwestern Sumatra island, heavy rain lasting four hours on November 17 has flooded many parts of the city, traffic was congested, many people had to evacuate, and Hundreds of houses in the neighborhood are flooded.
Heavy rain also caused some districts in Central Kalimantan to be flooded with 1-1.5m of water. Many areas along the Ciujung, Ciberang and Cisimeut rivers are also flooded.

In West Java, heavy rains in the Citarum basin over the past three days made residents of many villages evacuate.
The heavy rain that lasted for many hours in the evening of November 18 caused the area in the northern capital of Jakarta to be flooded with sea water, and the two pumping stations here had to operate continuously to pump water to the sea, by this land. lower than sea level by 3.5 meters, even up to 4m.
