Homes from garbage in the future
The waste of the previous year could become a home for next year thanks to the invention of new construction materials made entirely from waste products.
John Forth University of Leeds engineer UK is the creator of ' Bitublocks ,' - bitumen adhesives made from recycled glass, waste water, incinerator ash, metal refining and ash fuel at the power station.
Forth engineers say bitumen adhesives that use up to 100% of waste materials can reduce the amount of waste that is flooded and this is the first time it has been used in the construction industry. And this invention hopes to revolutionize the construction industry by providing concrete blocks with low capacity and low energy.
(Photo: MSN) According to Mr. Forth, manufacturing Bitublock requires less energy than traditional concrete blocks, but its strength is 6 times, and seems to be effective.
Bitumen is a kind of pasty compound used to spread sugar, which acts to bind waste materials together before they are solidified into solid blocks in the mold. This block is then heat treated to make the bitumen as hard as concrete.
We can use these blocks by taking advantage of higher bitumen rates in scrap than using cement or clay to bond materials, and we will have to spend millions of pounds of broken glass and ash. mourning to build them.
There are also plans to develop ' Vegeblock ' blocks from the use of discarded vegetable oil.
