In particular, Honeywell's hail and clay prediction system uses sophisticated algorithms to analyze data collected from ground-based radars to an altitude of 18 km and a width of 320 nautical miles.

The weather is also displayed in a specialized color palette structure (red for the most severe weather, yellow for the medium faint, blue for the less severe, and scarlet for perturbation) on the screen, allowing Pilots know exactly what goes on around the plane.

IntuVue 3D is a weather radar system developed by the Honeywell Aviation Technology Group that is widely available on a wide range of commercial, business and military applications ... is the first and only radar system.
