Hong Kong researchers have created a soft robot that can penetrate the human body.

Researchers at the University of Hong Kong (China) have just created a robot that looks like slime (a children's toy). Adults may find it similar to the scary character Venom in the movie of the same name.

In fact, it is a magnetic elastic mucus . When there is an external magnetic force, it will move and change shape accordingly.

This type of robot is designed to be inserted into the human body, performing medical tasks, such as retrieving a swallowed object.

Currently, soft robots cannot operate on their own (they still need external forces). Researchers have no plans to test soft robots with the human body.

We can make this soft robot ourselves by mixing poly (also known as PVA resin - a water-soluble synthetic polymer made from vinyl acetate), borax, and magnetic beads.
