Human-like robots can lift 30 kg

Japanese scientists have successfully built a human-like robot capable of weighing 30 kilograms. This is the first human robot in the world to do this.

The robot consists of trunks, limbs, artificial leather and is attached to about 1,800 sensors. The special point is that its activities are similar to that of humans. It is 1.55 meters high and weighs 70 kg.

Robots are designed to serve in areas such as patient care and housework. According to Professor Yasuo Kuniyoshi of the University of Tokyo, this is the first human robot in the world to lift 30 kg and pull a 66 kg mannequin.
